I recently restart taking online English lessons.
For today’s lesson, I chose a lesson material that I describe addiction. In this lesson, I describe something about addiction, e.g., the meaning of addiction, ways to prevent addiction, etc.
I write about what I reviewed the lesson. I did some grammar mistakes, but I could explain what I wanted to say. The followings are some words and phrases I studied in the lesson below.
- A has a similar meaning to B.
- We use this phrase when the meaning of A is similar to one of B.

- We use this phrase when we have some ways to do something but we choose one of them as an example.
- refrain

- addicted, addictive, addict
- Addicted represents a state.
- Addictive represents something causes addiction, e.g., drug addictive or smoking addictive.
- Addict represents a person who is addicted to something.
