I attended a research conference as an organizer. I have some works of an organizer, e.g. introduce invited speakers, be a timekeeper, and ask presenters if anyone asks. I was very nervous since I was not good at that. I had to introduce the invited speaker, e.g. their job history, how talented they is, but unfortunately, I did not do well. I have regretted that.
