Try to give more information

I recently found a tip for English conversation. When talking with some, I should say something informative. The worst one, and I shouldn't do, is to say only a word such as "yes" or "good." The next worst case is to say only one sentence. Such little information is not sufficient to express what I feel well. So I should give more information by saying multiple sentences, providing examples, rephrasing in other words, etc.

This tip may sound difficult for people who are not good at speaking English, but I think this tip is useful, especially for such people. The additional information doesn't have to be complete sentences, and a word is also enough. It is significantly more informative than saying nothing. So this is very useful for people who are not good at speaking English. The important thing is to try to give additional information.
