Movie: Step

The movie was very interesting, but I felt so depressed at every scene of the movie.

The mother died when the daughter was such a young age 1 or 2 years old. The father turned to grow her daughter alone. He brings his daughter to a kindergarten morning and then goes to work and picks her up in the evening. Doing both works and taking care of kids is very hard. For example, he can't do overwork for an emergency task since he has to pick up her daughter at the kindergarten early in the evening. His colleagues kindly help him, but such kindness sometimes makes him more depressed.

There are also other depressed points. The first one is that he encountered difficult situations, but he was even lucky to have kind colleagues and family who helped him. I imagined people in more hard situations in real, and such imagination made me more depressed. The second one is that his daughter happily grew well, but he looks like his daughter's servant. He paid his precious life for his daughter. I don't like to see what someone's life is sacrificed for another person's happiness.
